Dr. Dana is an accomplished educator, researcher, and "seasoned" practitioner in the field of social work. She earned her PhD at The Ohio State University in 2011. Dr. Dana is a 2003 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Master of Social Work Program. She graduated summa cum laude from Wilberforce University in 2001. Dr. Dana is a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor and has over a decade of clinical social work practice experience. She specializes in hope, optimism, and mental health. Dr. Dana is devoted to community-based participatory action research and has collaborated with several area agencies and schools including, Neighborhood House of Columbus Ohio, Sarah Center of Cincinnati, Boys Hope-Girls Hope of Cincinnati, The City of Cincinnati Police Department, Kenton County Schools, Dayton Independent Schools, and Boone County Schools.
